About the College Sree Narayana Guru College of Arts & Science, Paingottoor, was established in the year 2014 with the aim of providing higher education to uplift the disadvantaged and underprivileged sections in tune with the teaching of Sree Narayana Guru. It provides non-conventional job oriented undergraduate courses. It is strategically proposed to be at Chaithaimattom near the Onnukal – Thodupuzha state highway. It has already – within a short span of time – attracted the attention of students and parents looking for an academic excellence set in an eco-friendly sylvan atmosphere conducive to higher education.[/rs_text_block_with_button]

Department starts with Undergraduate program with limited number of students in the initial stage. Now the department has grown upto having highest strength of students in the college. Since 2019 onwards department started Post Graduate program with Specializations in Rural and Urban development and Medical and Psychiatric Socialwork.[/rs_icon_box]

A very limited number of students got admitted in the first batch .There after, the number increased. Later in 2020, the college started a Master of Commerce programme . We focus not only on learning but also to inspire and put them with all the qualities as a commerce learner.[/rs_icon_box]
